Malpua is also a symbol of happiness and enthusiasm. It is made with hot jaggery and milk. Flour, coconut and desi ghee are used in this. It is fried in hot oil and deliciously garnished and served. Malpua is everyone’s first choice on the day of Holi, especially among children and youth. Its taste adds more sweetness and colorfulness to the festive atmosphere. Material:

Flour – 1 cup
Rava – 1/2 cup
Curd – 1/2 cup
Milk – 1/4 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Cardamom – 2-3
Saffron – 10-12 threads
Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
Salt – a pinch
Oil – for frying

For syrup:

Sugar – 1 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Cardamom – 2-3

recipe:

-In a bowl, mix flour, rava, curd, milk, sugar, cardamom, saffron, baking soda and salt well.
-Prepare a thick batter by adding water little by little.
-Make the solution and keep it for at least 30 minutes.
-Heat oil or ghee in a pan.
-Put the batter in oil with a spoon and fry on low flame till it turns golden.
-To make syrup, add sugar and water in a pan.
-Boil the syrup. Add cardamom and boil for 5 minutes.
-Dip the fried Malpua in syrup and keep it for 5 minutes.
-Take out the Malpua from the syrup and keep it in a plate.
-Garnish it with pistachios or almonds.
-And serve hot to everyone.
